Umesh Patel
Umesh has been a practising optometrist since 2006 and is fascinated by the science of optometry.
Having worked with a number of practices nationwide, Umesh set up his own business to therefore put best practices into place for all of his patients.
Furthermore, he is able to develop his interest in, and use of, the latest technological advances in optometry.
MANDY DAVIDSON
Mandy is an Optometrist with a special interest in the tear film and the consequences of dry eye disease and runs our TEAR Clinic here at Dolphins.
She is passionate about caring for patients affected by dry eye.
When she isn’t at the practice, you’ll find Mandy working with fellow clinicians and health care professionals to educate them on how to develop their skills and therefore effectively manage patients presenting the symptoms of Dry Eye Disease in their own practices.
JULIAN SILBURN
Julian is a vastly experienced optician and a specialist in dispensing complex prescriptions.
Over the forty years he has been practising optics, Julian has worked in manufacturing, teaching, training, technical advising and frame making, in addition to many years dispensing in independent practice.
In 2008, he won his previous practice a National Optician’s Award because of the excellence of his work and specialist knowledge in lenses.
Previously he was Chairman of the South East Area of the Association of British Dispensing Opticians.
